The Spaminator project was started by Patrice in 2017 to combat the growing amount of exploitative spam on the Steem (now Hive) blockchain. It is currently technically operated by the Guilty Parties team and managed by Hivewatchers members. Spaminator’s goal is to disrupt, mitigate and prevent reward pool exploitation by automated, illicit or mass-organized means on the Hive blockchain.
